Tariq was 5+ years old then.

Fast forward 3 years later, Tariq is now..

1. Blue Belt TKD going for his Red Belt by end of this year and hopefully get his Black Belt TKD end of next year inshaAllah!

2. Blue Belt Ninja going for his Green Belt next year and hopefully his Black Belt Ninja two years after that

3. Thanks to his school Brainy Bunch, Tariq now just started learning Silat Gayong this year and hopefully get his Black Belt or at least Red Belt before he finishes his High School inshaAllah

This is when I reminded myself and my friends that we must always look for clues of what brings genuine joy and happiness to our children.

And The clues always always come from their childhood. 

Let them pursue what they love and not what we love.

For Tariq, they are always swimming and martial arts, sports-wise, Alhamdulillah!🥰🥰🥰
