Tariq's First HomeSchoolers Sports Day : Inspirational Story as a Parent

Last Monday, Tariq particpated in his very first HomeSchoolers Sports Day 2022, alhamdulillah!!🥳🥳🥳

It was truly an amazing and super joyful experience for both Tariq and Mama! 🤩

There were more than 200 homeschoolers participating MashaAllah!🤩🤩

So we both made many new friends that day, alhamdulillah!! 🥰🥰🥰

The HomeSchoolers Sports Day was full of laughter, so relax, fun, simple and efficiently organized.

The day started with singing the Malaysian National Anthem and also Rukun Negara followed by a WarmUp session!

Then the Homeschoolers were divided into their age groups and were briefed by parent volunteers on the games they would be competing in.

Tariq fall under the age group 10-12 years old.

Once divided into their age groups, the children self organized themselves into their teams (under supervision of parent volunteers) according to whatever their favourite colors are and the choices are - red, yellow and green!

Hahaha! How awesome is that! MashaAllah!

Liking the color Yellow, Tariq went to the Yellow Team group and was given the Yellow Band.

Then the children started to strategically plan on how to win their event as they had 3 games to complete in order to win - the water carrier game, the ball game and the pyramid formation game!

The stronger ones like Tariq volunteered to carry their lighter friends, MashaAllah!

The girls opted for the ball games!

And for the 3-storey pyramid formation, the stronger ones both boys and girls volunteered to be the base for their pyramid formation whilst the lighter ones would climb on top to form the next top 2 layers!

SubhanAllah!! It was so exciting to watch how they cheered each other, organized and execute their plans to win!

And MashaAllah TabarakAllah, Tariq’s Yellow Team grab the first place and earn their Gold Medal!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Well done Team Yellow!!!🥳🥳🥳

And of course, Tariq cannot resist joining the Tug-of-War and naturally he took the anchor position and his team won too!

Truly, it was an awesome day for Tariq making new friends from different backgrounds and fully enjoying Allah’s beautiful plan that day for us, alhamdulillah ya Allah! 🥰🥰🥰

And we went home that day tired but full of happy memories, alhamdulillah! 🥰
