When We Enter Our Home - Inspirational Story as a Parent

Beautiful Jumaat Mubarak everyone! πŸ₯°

The prove that we love Allah is that we follow His Prophet Muhammad SAW’s teachings and practices! *πŸ’–

And one of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW that we taught Tariq since small was to always give Salam upon entering the house. ** πŸ₯°

Pretty simple and easy peasy for the then 3 year old, Alhamdulillah πŸ‘ΌπŸ»

And now at 10, giving Salam when entering our house is a second nature for Tariq, Alhamdulillah! πŸ₯°

Every time Tariq enters our home, he will immediately say,

.... As salaamu 'alayka ya Rasulullah..!

MashaAllah TabarakAllah Alhamdulillah!

Teaching our children Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW

is one of our responsibilities as their guardians.

And there are so many Sunnah that are super easy for our children to practise.

At this time when practicing Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW is a challenge, don’t fret.

Pick the ones we are able to do  at home and within our personal space, inshaAllah!

May the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW always be part of us all, Aamiin! πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Allahumma Solli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad πŸ’«πŸ₯°❣πŸ’–

Notes:

* Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

(Surah Ali Imran : 31)

** Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said to me, "Dear son, when you enter your house, say As- Salamu 'Alaikum to your family, for it will be a blessing both to you and to your family." [At-Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hasan Sahih].

(Riyad as-Salihin 861, Book 5, Hadith 18)

Note: if house is empty when we enter, say Salam to Prophet Muhammad SAW. If there is someone in there then we say our usual Salam.
