Muazzin in The Making : Inspirational Story as a Parent

A few weeks ago, Tariq represented his class under Azan Competition category for his school’s Virtual Islamic Week.

It was simply pure pleasure for me to hear Tariq’s loud strong voice calling people to prayers, MashaAllah TabarakAllah! 🥰

His voice reminded me of my dad’s voice.

My dad used to say that he didn’t need any hailer speaker calling his platoon. His voice can be heard across the field, MashaAllah! (my dad was in Royal Military College during his high school years)

Needless to say, Tariq was pretty nervous about his azan performance.

Tariq’s  face lit up and his eyes twinkle when his Baba said he will take Tariq to our local Surau and perhaps be a Muazzin Trainee there, inshaAllah!

Post pandemic that is.

Tariq was like.., can ke Baba!!??, so excited of the idea

... Of course can sayang! Nothing is impossible if Allah Will’s it!.., said his Baba equally excited

That idea planted in his mind really boosted his dedication into super drive, MashaAllah!

He practiced his Azan day and night.

So come the day, he dressed up and did his best.

And he got the Consolation Prize Alhamdulillah!!🤩🤩🤩

No matter what Tariq decided to pursue and do in the future, me and his Baba have always prayed that one of his contributions is to be a Muazzin in his community, inshaAllah, Aamiin ya Rabb!💖

As being a Muazzin, means you are being Allah’s representative (Wakeel) reminding mankind of their daily Solat duty to Allah and calling His Servants to worship Him.

And that in itself, is a great honor, MashaAllah Alhamdulillah!

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar! MashaAllah, love Tariq's face... doing the azan full heartedly ❤

Tariq listening to his Ustaz who briefed the students on the rulings of the competitions

MashaAllah Alhamdulillah!! Well done, Tariq!!

Making duaa after azan..

Tariq smiling nervously while looking at Mama... Butterfly in his tummy... hihi

Mama's and Baba's Sheikh!

Attentively listening to his 'competitor' making his azan..

Brainy Bunch Virtual Islamic Week!
