After knowing, Comes Action : Inspirational Story as a Parent

One day in Ramadan, I was reciting the Holy Quran.

Tariq came to me and put his head on my lap, I guess just to manja2 while he listens to my recitation.

I continued my recitation and reached Surah Ali Imran Verse 173..,

.... Wa Qholu HasbunAllah wa Nikmal Wakeel...’

(Translate: ... And they answered, “Allah is Sufficient for us; and what an excellent Guardian He is!” )

Out of the sudden, Tariq turned his head to me excitedly and said..,

... Mama!! What is the story?? What is the story?? Tell me the story..!!

Hahaha

Terkejut Mama!!

Definitely one of my opocot moments!!

Tariq, being taught from very young age that our Holy Quran is a book of Words of Allah full of stories, advices, law and guidance for us to learn, understand and follow.

And just a few weeks before that, I taught Tariq that beautiful and powerful zikir ...HasbunAllah wa Nikmal Wakeel..’

And I told him that the origin of the Zikir was from Prophet Abraham (as) when he was thrown into the huge  fire using the giant catapult by his people. Upon reciting this Zikir, Allah changed the nature of the fire from being burning hot to being cold and Prophet Abraham (as) walked out of the fire alive, SubhanAllah

Prophet Moses (as) also recited this Zikir when being chased by Pharaoh and Allah saved Prophet Moses (as) and his people the Israelites and drowned Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea. Allahu Akbar!

And that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also recited this same Zikir before the Battle of Badr (the deciding battle of the fate of Allah’s Deen’s continuation) and where Muslim army was severely outnumbered and Allah granted Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Muslim army victory, Allahu Akbar!

So, that is why naturally when Tariq heard I recited that Zikir from the Holy Quran, he wanted to know... well... the story...

MashaAllah TabarakAllah, sayang

Research has proven that stories is one of the best ways how human being learn.

Mama is so thankful to Allah that you are always excited to know ‘the story’!

Alhamdulillah MashaAllah TabarakAllah! 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕

And knowing is not enough, sayang, as after knowing, comes amal, the action.

Your action.

So remember when you yourself are facing an uphill battle, always always start by first asking for His Help by saying

.... HasbunAllah wa Nikmal Wakeel...

Then inshaAllah you will have your own ‘HasbunAllah wa Nikmal Wakeel’ story to share! 🥰

May this beautiful and powerful Zikir be part of your heartbeat and your remembrance of Allah, the Most Powerful, the Lord of the Heaven and the Earth, and everything in between.

Aameen ya Hayyul ya Qayyum!💕💕

Tariq listening attentively to my recitation. Although he could not understand it, but Quran gives calmness and tranquility to his heart.. Alhamdulillah

HasbunAllah wa Nikmal Wakeel.. 💕
