Last weekend Tariq closed his Swimming 2019 Calendar with a
bang, alhamdulillah!! 💫🌟🔥🌟⭐️💫
He won a Silver Medal in a State Level Swimming Championship
‘Podium Talent Swimming Championship 2019’!! 🥰🥰🏅🏅🏅💕💕💕
Alhamdulillah!!🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
It was a 4 x 50m Medley Relay and Tariq was positioned as
the first swimmer doing Backstroke, one of his best strokes Alhamdulillah🤩🤩🤩
His comrades were Turgeshvar Kumarason doing Breastroke,
Abraham Santhosh George doing Butterfly and final swimmer was Keegan Sta Maria
doing Freestyle!🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️
All of them swam their heart out doing perfect strokes
mashaAllah earning their team the Silver Medal.🥈🥈🥈
Tariq as the first swimmer leaped into the pool and as he
took his first stroke, the crowd started screaming and cheering.🎉🎉🎉
His Flying Eagle Swimming Club team mates, Coaches and
Parents went berserk as Tariq started to overtake one swimmer after another!!
It was such a euphoria in the Aquatic Stadium!
And by around 30m across the pool, Tariq’s backstrokes has
already created a good gap giving his next team mate, Turgesh an advantage over
the other teams. Turgesh with his breast strokes extended the gap further and the
third swimmer Santhosh did the perfect Butterfly strokes. And finally Keegan
their final team member dashed with his freestyle across the pool to secure the
team their Silver Medal, MashaAllah!!
Words cannot described the happiness we as Coaches and
Parents feel at that moment. Being the underdogs, Tariq and his teammates conquered their fear, got into their
‘override mode’ and swam beyond their very best!!

determination, dedication, hardwork, persistency, grit and willpower has paid
