That day we were about to have dinner.
We had a typical menu comprising rice and some dishes.
Tariq's Baba is very health conscious and takes care of his
carbo intake.
So he looked into the fridge looking for something healthier
(less carbo) to eat while mumbling to himself.
Then suddenly Tariq who was already seated at the dinner
table said,
.... Baba..., maybe you should be grateful because we have
food on the table... some people do not have even any food to eat tonight...
I burst into laughter immediately!😂😂
And Tariq's Baba was speechless!

Well done, Tariq!
That is exactly how we should think.
Although both me and his Baba knew Tariq missed the point,
we are still so happy hearing Tariq's 'advice'
One of the values I continuously instill in Tariq is this.
To always be GRATEFUL and THANKFUL to Allah, InshaAllah.
It is not always easy as I need to remind Tariq about it
from time to time.
Whatever and no matter what, always be grateful and trust
Allah's plan.

*Be pleased.
*Be contented.
*Be appreciative .
*To Allah.
* Always.
And I am so grateful to Allah that Tariq starts applying
