When a school is super serious in living
its motto ‘Success in Both Worlds’, this is what happened.
Your son got to be a Muazzin,
Entrepreneur and Warrior all in a span of one week, MashaAllah!!🤩🤩🤩
Tariq’s school Brainy Bunch started its
3-strikes of awesomeness last Wednesday.
It was the Brainy Bunch Mini Market Day where
all students brought some things from home and ‘sell’ them to their friends and
teachers.
It is a trading and retailing exercise
where real transactions happened, but just that they dont use real money.
They used currency called Brainy Bunch
Dollars/Dinar (BBD) for short. The idea is to get BB students to learn how to
trade.
Kids were trained to sell, market their
goods, speak up, promote, negotiate etc during this process.
An awesome business training,
mashaAllah!
Then two days later, on Friday, the kids
had their Islamic Day where multiple competitions happening all around the
school like Islamic Quiz, Adzan competition, Hafazan etc were held.
And Tariq competed in Adzan Competition
representing his class, alhamdulillah!
It was so lovely to hear Tariq
practicing his Adzan at home.. while he sits, in the car, while doing his
Maths, while walking etc MashaAllah.
An uplifting and awesome spiritual
training, alhamdulillah!
Then three days later, on Monday, the
school had their Closed Tae-KwonDo Championship where all students compete
against each other according to their own belt and age category.
And Tariq won Gold Medal for both
Pattern and Sparring, alhamdulillah!
And this was a great physical training,
mashaAllah.
As a parent, I am really grateful for
all these training and soft skills Tariq picked up while doing all these
activities.
To me, they are priceless.
And this is what education really is all
about.
Not really the grades, not really about
the class rankings.
These soft skills are the skills that
will truly help Tariq and all his friends grow and be beneficial individuals
for the Ummah, inshaAllah
So thank you Brainy Bunch for all your
hardwork!🥰🥰🥰
