Last Saturday, Tariq enrolled into a Ramadhan Program called Story Sack, Alhamdulillah..

There, via storytelling, Tariq learn thru a very fun way, not only the stories of Prophet Adam, Hawa, the Angels and the Devil...

But he also began to have deeper understanding of why the Prophet Adam (as) made the repentance duaa.

The duaa below was recited by Prophet Adam (as) after he was thrown out of Paradise and sent earth due to his sin.

Prophet Adam (as) never stopped asking Allah for forgiveness, continuously repenting and repeating this duaa and asking Allah to accept his duaa.

His beautiful Duaa is shared in our beautiful Holy Book, Al-Quran Kareem.

Let us recite this duaa continuously too during this blessed month of Mercy, inshaAllah.

May Allah accepts our duaa and forgive our sins as how He accepts Prophet Adam’s duaa and forgive his sins, Aamiin..

Dua of Adam (A.S) to Allah in repentance:

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ (7:23)
Rabbana thalamna anfusana wain lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena
"Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers."
